as I said in a previous comment about your theory:
The bow effect does NOT effect my betting strategy in anyway because my max bet goes out at a plus 6 tc and remains for the duration as long as the count does not decrease. Another words Clarke, my bet peaks out at +6 therefore the bow effect is NOT detrimental to my strategy because the drop starts in the MUCH,MUCH, higher TC's (as you admitted yourself) and I do not try to exploit FA by raising my bets at the TC's in these higher ranges.
Your reply was something as to "But you are still making max bets at the higher TC's.".....Big deal Clarke,the bow effect still does not "Trick Me" (as you might imply.)
But first, how are you estimating your spread? You have probably still been estimating actually for all +6 and above. If you are doing so by some other form of estimate, you have, well this is going to sound strange, you have not been getting that little bit of cushion from having more edge for the upper end of your spread.
And being aware of the bow-effect you are giving up some impressive gains by not seeking as much PE as you can.
