I am having trouble finding out which are the top 30 risk averse plays for the Zen I've been using index plays off of Norms software but I want to make sure I'm choosing the index plays with the most EV.
Until I saw Arnold Snyder's TC count indices and realized most the illustrious 18 are different.
With the "Catch 22" plus the Fab 4, you're up to 26 indices.
Have no idea what Snyder did, but wouldn't bother with it.

I did not consider any indices over +/- 7.
If a program gives an index for splitting Fives you can be sure that something is very wrong with this program (or with your manipulation).
It goes without saying that all the rest of the figures lose their credibility due to that.

When I posted 5-5 vs. 10s and As, those index numbers were for doubling, not splitting. I typed splitting there. That was wrong, and I offer my sincerest apologies.
When creating charts, and I always create a spreadsheet for myself to learn index plays for a new counting system (Omega Advanced II, Zen, Revere Point Count, Hi-Lo, etc.), I always include the same indexes for doubling down on a pair of 5s, using the same index number as a 2 card 10 ten hand against the dealer's upcards.
