starting up...

I am wanting to get into card counting, and similar to other posts, I want to know what steps to take. Really I am wanting some book recomendations. I have read on this forum, and I know there are varying opinions. If you could list your pick and why it would be good for a beginner, that would be gret. thanks...

Getting Started

For starters, get Professional BJ. Go to blackjackinfo.com, and use the BS engine and get the correct BS for the games you'll be playing. Memorize them...know them front and back.

Go to bj21.com home page and click on BJ School. Start going through the lessons. The Gamemaster teaches the Hi/Lo system. After a couple of lessons, you'll figure out if you want to use Hi/Lo, or go for the easier unbalanced system like KO. If you decide on KO, get the KO book. But still go through all the lessons at the BJ shcool.

And then practice, practice, practice.

Later get BJ Attack. This will lay a foundation for solid play.
