sorry
wasn't my "cup of tea".
If someone asks a question, and they appear to be a beginner, I tend to answer not only with "what" but with "why" if I can. It seems that the preferred answer for the beginner question "do you have to learn to count to beat the casino at 21?" is a simple "yes". No explanation as to why, etc... Or "Can I use a positive progression to beat 21?" should be answered with a simple "no" and move on. Not my cup of tea, there..
So rather than taking the time to try to answer clearly and explain why my answer was what it was, I ended up also having to put up with the "your answers are too long-winded."
That's just me, and as a teacher, I tend to answer all questions the same way, never thinking "2.71828 or yes" is a good-enough answer except in rare cases...
