What are you talking about?
2 10's is without doubt a great hand. I understand that you're probably thinking that with a nice fat +count you're probably gonna get more 10's and the dealer will still break......but what if you catch a 5 or a six on one (or both) of those 10's that you split?
Then that increases even further the probability the dealer will bust.
And worse: What if your taking those 10's makes the count drop enough that the dealer dosent get one for the break and gets the 5 or 6 he/she needs for 21??
The gains from making the 20s will far outweigh the losses from the unlikely chance the dealer gets 21.
You need to stop thinking like this, these issues have been calculated over and over; it's not a matter of opinion.
The problem with splitting 10s on high counts has to do with cover, not EV.
