Simulator problems ?

Hi. My BJ simulator ( Verite ) seems to be way off course. Please someone bebunk or verify these numbers. Ace Five count. Ace-1, Five +1, four players, single deck, 60% pen, DOA, H17, NO DAS, Split one time.

I keep coming up with an average .49 advantage after 10,000,000 hands. Ran this 5 times with simular results. Betting 1 unit at 0 or any minus counts and 2 units at +1 and 5 units at +2 or more. Of course you realize that the count will only go to -4 or +4. Seems quite high given the rules and # of players. Thanks

Your 1-5 spread is what's giving you the advantage. Try a 1-4 spread with a stronger count system, even just the hi-lo. You'll be pleased!

p.s. this count really won't cut it on a double deck game.

I already know what the stronger counts will do. Need a verification on these numbers.

my results with CVdata are a little lower, but in the same ballpark more or less. i didn't use any playing adjustments (not even insurance)

i get about .32% (IBA) betting based on the running count. i assumed that's what you're doing based on the comment that the count will only go to +4. the hourly win rate is about 1/2 a unit.

with true count conversion, i get .40% (100M hands). the hourly win rate is about 2/3 of a unit

Slightly high. It takes very little of a count to make money with a 5:1 spread at single deck. Four players at 60% penetration happens to be very sensitive to the cut-card effect. One card higher or lower penetration makes a large difference. Send me more info or questions by e-mail if you wish.
