Simple Questions from a Newbie..thanx Merry xmas

im sorry if i sound like i have no clue what im talkin about but im just very curious at this time....

1. in a profitable sense is a shoe with more or less decks better to play??

2. ive seen books online about how to win at online blackjack.. but is this possible? i mean how do you know they arent screwin you..its like the dealer and cards are rite in front of you...so how can you know for sure it is legit?

On paper, fewer decks are more profitable. You can use a smaller bet spread to beat them and the favorable situations occur more frequently. Reality is a different story.

It is possible, but the opportunities are not as plentiful as they once were. You have to be careful and only play against reputable casinos that advertise reputable software. Casinos that use MicroGaming, Cryptologic, and Boss Media software can be trusted to offer a fair game. Even so, a casino that uses that software (or any other fair software) can still refuse to pay you. You just have to be very careful in choosing a casino.
