Units are changing

This stretches over 13 years.The first 3 as part timer, the next ten as a full time professional. There were several currencies involved.At the beginning mainly French Franks but also some Belgian Francs,German Marks and Austrian Shillings.Nowadays it's mainly Euros and some Swiss Franks.My max bet hardly ever exceeds 3*200Euros since this is in many places the table max. Min bet is either 5,10 or 20.
I must admit that I benefitted from the weakness of the US-Dollar but if I convert my winnings at current exchange rates, it comes to roughly 800'000 bucks.

I would say that most benefit came from the laxity of the european casinos to let you spread from 5-10 or 20 to 3 x 200 no matter what was the currency.

Depends

How hard it is depends upon how ambitious you want to get and what type of shuffle you're facing. I have not shuffle tracked long, but I have a nearby casino which uses a one pass shuffle and I limit myself to tracking the cutoffs. Without much visual acumen, I can watch where the cutoffs are plugged and follow them through this simple shuffle. Not as powerful as visually tracking a strong positive slug, but it can still get me an advantage if I can cut out bust cards or cut money cards to the top. If you don't have a place to play which uses this simple a shuffle, then I suggest you practice for a very long time before trying it live.
