I just returned from two frustrating days in SB looking in vain for a decent game. I hadn't been in over a year, and they really have clamped down on DD. I was surprised to see that the Horseshoe only has 6-deck games now, the same with Harrahs and Hollywood. I found 2 measly DD games at Boomtown. I didn't go to the Isle, but I heard they have only 1 game. I don't mind playing a shoe occasionally, but I need variety.
I did enjoy seeing Jack Binion galomping through the hotel foyer on his way to his casino. He growled "Hi ya "in return to my greeting as he strode by. Unfortunately, that's the only highlight of my trip inside a casino. (Still enjoyed my favorite old Shreveport restaurants, however. They never change).
Guess I'll be going to Biloxi for my fix from now on.
