Should I up my minimum bet

Just started in the casino's three days ago. First trip after three months of practice!

I have been playing now for hours and hours and hours, days really.
I started, with a BR OF $3500 at $10 minimum, doubling my bet at a tc of 1, and bet $40 at tc of 2 or higher. It's been three day's now and I have a BR of $7200.

My question is... should I raise my minimum to $20 now and have a top bet of $80. or would that bring to much heat.
Also I have picked up a few players cards... should I continue to use them or lose them.
Not much on comps and I heard that the players cards will hurt me... if I count.
Any information would be great!

I wouldn't do that. You got really lucky. Three days and doubling your bankroll is a great +variance to the BR but the -variance can just as likely hit you too.

1-4 spread sounds really low unless you're dealing with a good SD game, BTW.

If you play all, you cannot afford to bet more than you have to in negative situations. However, you should raise your maximum since 1:4 will just about allow you to break even.
Don't worry about barring as long as don't even bet 3digits.

I have been researching betting strategy's and have put a few of them together this is what I have:

1 unit, $10 at negative and neutral counts
1 1/2 units, $15 at running count of 1
2 units, $20 at tc of 1
2.5 units, $25 at tc of 1.5
4 units, 40 at tc of 2

Also been thinking about switching up my betting strategy for each deck for the casinos benefit. Any comments are welcome so here it is ...

I would start out with the above strategy. Then on the next deck use the fibo sequence. Also find myself betting 1 unit in negative and neutral counts and betting 1,2,3,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,3,2,1... in + counts.

About your comment of playing even with a bet spread of 1-4. I play way above even.
Only DD. However if a SD is the only game to play I will play that.
I take into consideration deck composition and ratios between cards that have been played. For more info., pm me.

The way I count is more of a memory game than counting. I count 4 things sometimes five. It is a unique hi-lo system... pm me for more info.

Also, lets say I had $80 in profit and I look at the remaining cards and see that there are about 4 hands to be played before the marker. I will flat bet the minimum, if I lose all four then I still have a profit of $40. If I win all four I have a total profit of $120. It dramatically reduces RoR, improves standard deviation and raises profit in negative count situations at the end of the deck.
Genius really.

If anyone would like to know what I am talking about and much more message me. And I will put you on a list for a paper im writing about it. May take a while though, since I cannot sim my system, only about 10 percent through and been working on it for about 125 hours.
