Although I know the program is no longer supported I recently emailed Karel at a number of addresses where I'm positive the emails went through. I stopped playing blackjack a number of years back and when my blackjack programs wouldn't work with Vista 64x systems and SBA was no longer supported I deleted the .exe. I'm going to start playing again in a couple of months and really need this program. PBA 4.3.7 works on a 64x Windows 7 system using the Windows XP Mode / Virtual PC update and I'm sure SBA will. Someone had actually recommended a virtual PC on this site but at the time I didn't see anything from Microsoft and didn't pursue aftermarket as I wasn't planning on playing again. Now that there are good games an hours drive from my house and I don't have to fly around the country or drive 3 hours anymore the temptation is just too great. I rely on both PBA and SBA and would feel like a one legged field goal kicker going out to play without either program. I'm not interested in any other program. In my emails I offered to buy the program again but didn't receive a response. What I would do, if someone supplies me with SBA 5.52 and a password, and it works under Windows XP Mode / Virtual PC, I would donate the purchase price of the program to one of the foundations Karel lists on his webpage. I will provide proof. I don't think there's anything unethical about this.
Thanks.
