All of Reno is happening, everywhere is crowded. I am out scouting and looking for opportunities. I must be at Atlantis at 1:30 for some kind of drawing. I somehow stumble there in my crazy state. Everything is blurry. I am looking for dealers that reveal information. Atlantis has always been pretty decent about this, so I am not sure why I am looking. I sit at an older female dealer's table and do my usual $5 bets at third base while I look around.
Pit Boss asks for my player's card (and I do have one from Atlantis), and I quickly respond with my usual "the comps here suck, I would not like to even bother." Table is almost completely full, I get 6,5 on my first hand. Another pitboss suddenly arrives and says "Reno HCM, you are now required to show your player's card." I start panicking
and yelling as to why I have to show my player's card. He just states that the computer shows I must always give my player's card. As I give him my player's card, I am dealt 6,5 with my $5 bet. He now looks over my player's history and tells me, "We would not like
you to sit in that seat, but you are more than welcome to sit at this other seat by 1st base." The whole time I am thinking, "what the hell is going on." I oblige and change seats while I tell the dealer to double down my 11 against her 7. I get a 5 on my 11 and she starts
taking my money. I quickly raise my voice in despair, "Come on, please you haven't finished your hand yet." I feel like I am in a dream. Everything is so confusing. The pitboss now gets me
from the table and starts to talk to me that he knows what I do when I come to Atlantis. In a way I know that he is only guessing and he has no idea about some of the skills I posses. However, I spill the beans and admit that "I am able to come to this casino, and see where there are opportunities waiting to be exploited." I tell him all about it, but that Atlantis is pretty decent about protecting their games. I then go on spilling about how I am ready to retire from
this business and that I need a job. I keep explaining to him about existing vulnerabilities in this casino. I want him to hire me into surveillance or some other position because I enjoy the reno/tahoe area. He tells me my skills are mediocre and I lack talent. I go off on him telling him how I just partially educated and quadrupled his information regarding advantage play. He keeps to his initial opinion. The whole time I am explaining my education and how this casino would benefit. He takes me all over Atlantis and we finally end up in the surveillance room. I am full of despair and angry. He finally points to me and says to the surveillance guys, "gentleman, meet your new director of surveillance."
I then wake up and realize I was having a nightmare.
