Having played BJ and researched the game for nearly 20 years I'm disappointed that the TC's are only listed as whole number values, when in fact the counts fluctuate slightly above or below published play-decision thresholds. It would marginally help one's EV if they were listed to the nearest 0.5 value (or even 0.25 value increments), instead a whole number values'.
Often I will check the board to see if my hit-to-make '21' card is out to help me decide these marginal calls when at the threshold, which has seemed to work nicely for me much of the time in the 6-deck games I play. (ie if hitting 12 vs 4 (normally a hit if at threshold of zero or below), if no 9's are in play on a full table, I hit).
