Rating Cards

I have this problem when I play. I don't get rated and I believe that brings heat more quickly. What can I do to get rating cards for various casinos (I usually play in Mississippi)? Also, if I obtain a fake identification (with a fake address and ask to be off their mailing list) and use that to get rating cards at casinos, will I face any legal problems if caught? It's not like I'm staying in their hotel. I would just use it to get rated.

I've already been busted at a couple of places. I'm currently playing at about a five to six unit spread with a $50 minimum on double-deck. I've been earning about one large bet per hour. If I switch to a six-deck game where the dealer hits 17 what kind of hit can I expect to take?

you're already on the right path. Do whatever you have to do to open a new players account...I'd never click "no mail" on an acccount that is good...give them a valid address (friend, relative, whomever, wherever) and pick up the mail from them once a week or supply them with some pre-stamped envelopes for them to forward your mail to you once a week).

It is not illegal to have multiple accounts under various names at various casinos. It is a violation of "players club rules" but the last time I checked the "players club" is not a governmental entity. The worst that can happen is you get backed off again and have your comps wiped out.

With regards to alternative ID...laws vary greatly on a state by state basis...consult a lawyer to find out the laws in the states in which you play. If you're a high stakes pro, unless you plan on playing anonymously forever, alternative ID is a fact of life. The whats, hows and wheres of these products are never discussed publically or with people we don't already know very well. See Ian Andersen's book "Burning the Tables in Las Vegas" for some examples, including legal means of getting multiple ID's.

is to use players cards of friends, if you are earning $200/hour you are probably not too worried about the comps so let them have them and you should have no problems :)
