I have posted this message before and I hope I don't come across as being pushy or a fool but I didn't get an answer to my question(and I attribute that to the fact that it was posted too far down on the board and only a select few reviewed it without any comments but you can view it under Thanks, Now try this one! by AceyDeucey) and I rewrite it here because I believe it would be of general interest to many people who count cards, possibly looking for an alternate method that is simple yet effective. I would say it is somewhat equivalent to an easy level one count or even a five or ten count while being more reliable and accurate yeilding a greater effect.
The question I have about the system is the fact that it seems so controversial as it doesn't count the ratio between high and low cards or even tens but certain card denominations which the author dubs the "core" which he claims have the greatest impact on the deck.
He provides reasonable mathematical support for his strategy and makes a fairly convincing argument while being radically different departing from the standard principles of traditional, more conventional card counting systems of the past. I have his work and could site the title, author or even give my basic take on the system so you could form a better judgement on what he presents, but the fact of the matter is that I would like a second opinion on the merit of the system and would welcome any comments. If you have any remarks I would be much obliged and will send(post) the afore mentioned information if you believe there may be possibilities in such a system.
