Professional Blackjack

I just bought Professional Blackjack today and I am going to read it.
It seems a bit dated(1994), are the indicies still up to date? Also,
is Stanford Wong still alive or has he passed on? If so he should
write a more updated book.

Still alive?

Unless someone is using a pen name for a pen name he still posts on this site(his site).His recent works (in "our catalog " above)are about dice ,VP,and sports betting. Much less "cat and mouse games" with those games.
But who knows the day may come when the sports book manager comes to you and says "We can't take your action ,you are too good , but you are welcome to play BJ".

Still good to go

Professional Blackjack is still good to go. The index numbers are still right, although there are a couple of very minor numbers that some have quibbled with. SW is alive and well. If you're in Las Vegas, stop by at the Pi Yee Press offices and you might even get the chance to meet him.
