In past months, one post has been selected as the winner of Post of the Month. In May of 2003 we have an unusual situation: The winner is a five-post thread. Actually it's a five-post subthread; the lead post of the five was itself a follow-up post.
I would rather recognize just one post every month, so my intent is that May 2003 be the exception rather than the start of a new trend.
The winner for May 2003 is a thread composed of the following five posts by Scobee 1 and Math Boy on BJ Green:
Cover considerations scobee 1 26 May 03, 10:04 a.m.
problems with this Math Boy 28 May 03, 4:59 p.m.
Further discussion scobee 1 28 May 03, 8:03 p.m.
more discussion Math Boy 29 May 03, 6:36 a.m.
Superstition and losses scobee 1 29 May 03, 7:55 a.m.
Every month green chippers select a Post of the Month from among all the messages posted to the green-chip pages during the month. The winner receives $100 and the winning post is preserved in a special section of the Archives dedicated to Posts of the Month. For May 2003, the $100 is being sent half to Scobee 1 and half to Math Boy, and the five posts are preserved in the POM section of the archives.
