Placing and Taking Insurance bets for/from others
Camoflauge issues aside, does anyone here have any comments on taking insurance (at the appropriate count) for another player who does not wish to take it him/herself?
What about the inverse: i.e. acting as the casino and offering insurance to another player (below the appropriate count for taking insurance, obviously); for example, at a tc of <+3, offering "Even Money" to another player who has blackjack and wants to take even money from the croupier showing an Ace, with you saying something like, " Don't take even money from the dealer. I'll give you even money myself, and if the dealer doesn't have BJ, you will give me the 3:2 payout."
