You backed yourself off, if you are "new" to this store -
I would never leave that quickly on my first play in that casino, if that was the case. Just order a drink, light up a cigarette, kick back, and smile! And reduce your spread for awhile. Of course, after an hour or so, I would leave no matter what the win or loss was. Or if I was up 30 or more units, I might leave immediately. But just to let a would-be threatening employee blow me out of there, no way.
I once had a dealer at the horseshoe say to me: "I know what you are doing, you count the cards".. I said right back to him, "Yeah, I keep track of the Aces so I know whether or not there's any blackjacks left in the deck..SO WHAT?" He never answered, I played for at least one-half hour longer and left a winner with no further hassles. And some other guy at the table gave me a high five as I stood up and left. And I have played there literally for decades since then!
Nearly everybody thinks they they "count" something these days. So What????
