I'm thinking of buying a few more general gaming related books and you guys might have read some of them. Need some recommendations for introductory texts on probability, modelling, monte carlo sims, programming, etc. I hope it's not too jargon full, and I don't study computing, statistics or maths in school.
Here are my choices:
1:"An Introduction to Probability Theory and Its Applications
William Feller"
2:"Advanced modelling in finance using Excel and VBA
Mary Jackson, Mike Staunton"
3:"Mathematics for 3D Game Programming & Computer Graphics
Eric Lengyel"
Or any other you guys might have in mind. I think these are all good books but if you have any other recommendations please don't hesitate to tell me. And Yes, I already have "beyond counting" which does match my criterias to an extent.
