Paragon/ Marksville,La.

Does anyone have info on the indian casino in Marksville,La.?I'm trying to find out how many decks are used and the typical mins.I prefer double deck.Also, what are the rules here?Any info on the surrounding cities/towns(entertainment,food,etc.)How far is the casino from any towns/cities?I'm going on a junket and will be there for 2 nights/3 days.Thanks in advance.
P.S. Is the VP playable?La. is not known for it's great VP.(at least from my observations)

Sorry, had to laugh. It's been more than a year since I've been there so you'll have to rely on CBJN or another that knows more about their current game conditions. But the laugh was due to "surrounding cities".

You are in the middle of NOWHERE, my friend. Marksville is very small, on the outskirts of Hessemer. Closest town is Baton Rouge, 1 1/2 hrs away. (Couple of boats there)

The casino does have a good Seafood buffet on Fridays and it wasn't difficult getting a comp to it.

Outside of the casino, I can't think of ANYTHING you can do for 3 days there...bring a HUGE bank, you'll be playing a bunch! Good cards.

Marksville conditions unchanged over the

last several years...same few double deck games with 50% pen and same shoe games with 1.7 deck cuts. No playable VP.
