since I last stayed at the Palace - probably 1995 at the latest - but, if it hasn't gone downhill since then you should be pleased - I found it to be a good place to stay, decent restaurants, decent lounge, decent rules, and easy comps - stay in the tower, not the garden motel type rooms - and hopefully they still have the shuttle to get you to and from the strip and their other properties if you are interested in wandering to other venues - but, as cautioned, this info is old old old, so proceed at your own risk -
not the best bj in the city but certainly playable DD games. H17 DAS I think you can resplit aces, and then pen varies by dealer. Not to sweaty. More of a local atmosphere. But 2 min. from the strip.
