I have no interest in online casinos but a couple of friends do. (Losers.) They both have (finally) become suspicious about playing some games. They each noticed when small, or minimum bets are on, there is a 'normal' quick computer speed. But when larger bets are on, sometimes there is a strange 'delay,' for some reason, before the completion. This 'delay' can even be 3 times the 'normal' speed.
I've speculated on this phenomena in the past with them, to no avail. Now they come to me and moan that it seems whenever this delay thing happens, they invariably lose the larger bets. After I say: "Tell someone who cares," I give them the usual spruik about how the possibilities for cheating and fraudulent activities are far too high with online casinos for my liking; not to mention the fact that meaningful regulation is virtually non-existent in that 'industry'.
My speculation remains this: The 'delay' is caused by the computers running the games being programmed to 'do it again quick' in the event that the player wins a larger bet. Perhaps only 12% of larger bets can be won, for example. Has anyone else experienced these - to my mind - suspicious delays?
