does card counting work for online blackjack. you never see the shuffle and you don't know how many decks are being used.

the sites ive looked at all talk about that on their faq or info page. usually they say they do continually shuffle which i take to me they shuffle after every hand. of course if they do shuffle at certain times in the deck being delt w/out your knowledge it seems your count could be really off! since you never see them shuffling you never would know when to start the count over at zero!
Some places deal games with mediocre penetration eg Stanley Acropolis, Global Player. The cryptologic chain all deal 1/3 of 8 decks, which is horrible. Boss Media casinos have a single-deck game which is shuffle-up every hand, but has a small player advantage.
But, really its pointless trying to count games online. Its not that its impossible, its just that there are much better options available for advantage players.

It isnt a matter of spread its a matter of Bonuses.
You wouldn't even need 1-100. Just shuffle-up on neg counts (often easy online, just leave the game), and use a smaller spread.
Btw Terrible is relative, the speed of play, the opportunity to "reverse preferential shuffle", and the absence of expenses or heat means these games can be better than many poor shoe games counters in the real world attack.
The "problem" is, the return is pathetic when compared to other strategies you can use online, as Nifty points out.

They used to have a great single deck game but have converted to 6 deck over 4 months ago.

Anyone who plays casino games on-line is a damn fool. Either you'll get cheated or you'll have a hard time getting paid, or they'll accuse you of "bonus abuse" and confiscate your winnings. They operate in jurisdictions outside of the law and you have ZERO recourse when you get ripped off. Now of course some will answer here that they "make a living" at on-line casinos (like these casinos enjoy giving money away to bonus hustlers) but they're just shills who are looking to sell you a book or a scam.

This is one of RB's better post. There are indeed many unworthy scamming online casinos out there that dont like to cough up the dough. Anyone who gambles over the internet should be carefull.
RB is correct,severel of these internet casinos can(and will) accuse winners of being a bonus abusers and will NOT pay up. There is nothing at all stupid or funny about his statement.
Im a relatively new bonus player who is still learning the ropes. No major payment problems up to this point, but I am still paranoid. How many of you have had trouble w/ any of the casinos. Any names I should be leery of or ignore completely?

All the internet casinos I've seen use a random generated shuffle for each deal. I don't see how its possible to beat such a game.
Of course the internet affiliates will tout about how a fortune can be made with virtually no risk. What in my post leads you to believe I say internet gambling is beatable?
Single-deck is still available at Pharoahs casino and several other places Americans can't get at. And yes, I know about the limit.
