For a 6 deck H17 game where there is no hole card and you do not lose any double down or split bets if the dealer gets a blackjack, what are the variations in strategy compared to a game with same rules but you lose the DD/split bets?

You can now split aces vs. ace, split 8s vs. 10 and ace, and double ace vs. 10 and ace.
Does that mean I should double down on hard 11 against an Ace?

I played the game of blackjack for ten years in Las Vegas and other venues knowing the dealers hole card. I have played over a million hands of 21. The crew that i played with won over three million dollars in the 1980,s. A new book has been released this year 2019 called "Heat in the Vegas Night", it tells the true story of a group of men that use a mirror to catch the dealers hole card. True, documented story.
