I don't mean to interrupt the BJ talk, but I can't find this info on the web and it wasn't on the back of my Futures ticket. QUESTION: How do the sports books in Vegas credit a tie game relative to a team's season win total? I had Eagles under 9. They went 8-7-1. I send in my ticket to Planet Hollywood. I get a check for only the amount bet, NOT a win. Where I come from, 8 is under 9. The bet is clearly on the ticket as Under 9 WINS. That says to me they should use the number in the WIN column to determine winners and losers. IF the Vegas rule is to count a tie game as another win in each team's win column, that's weird. Also, it would seem to be a scam on the folks who bet Eagles over 9. I would think most of them don't know of this odd rule and will not send in their ticket to get their original bet back. Is that what Vegas is hoping for with this kind of rule? OR could this be an oversight by Planel Hollywood? THANKS in advance for anyone that can explain this to me.
