MIT team video and home training kit

The MIT blackjack team is coming out with a instructional video and complete home instructional kit to help the beginner as well as the experienced blackjack player.

No more trying to understand some complicated book, let the MIT team show you how to improve your game and increase your chances of winning everytime you seat down at the table. This video gives you more of a hands on training and you can see what they are doing unlike just reading about it.

The video and home instructional kit will be avalible around the second week of December. This is a must for anyone serious about playing blackjack.

On another note: The MIT team story "Bringing down the house" just started shooting and well be out in late 2005 or early 2006. The stars included, Kevin Spacey and Toby McGwire.

The reason why I hope the video will be available at rge21.com is that I'm a long-time customer there...over 3 years.

Finally, why not ask someone to post their messages on another website where there's a chance that the question would be able to get some genuiune replies?

BTW, I have NO intention to say that this website is inferior to rge21.com or others. Actually, bj21.com is the crowdiest and most popular, and tons of players, beginner to expert, post here every day.

If you go to the "Links" hyperlinks on this page both at the top and in the left column, you will find links to practically all blackjack sites including that one.

You won't find anything like that over there. What you will find over there is constant criticism of other sites by the administration, and statements to the effect of "how we're better than them".

It's one thing to mention another site, but GBV makes a good point in that you do it frequently. (Dammit. I've said something nice about GBV again. I've got to learn to stop doing that.) The administration here has been allowing you to advertise for that site over and over again.

I wonder how long someone's bypass moderation over there would last if they kept advertising BJ21.com on that site.

Oh, and if you want to find the biggest group of knowledgeable players and experts who can provide "genuine replies", join Greenchip.

We'd all like to give you the benefit of the doubt. Notice I didn't call you an RGE shill or anything like that, or speculate as to your motives, I just pointed out what you'd been posting. You must admit it looks fishy.
Promoting other sites is fine, many of us do it including me, but it is much more effective if you do it on topic, eg Don said this about H02 and link to a specific RGE post. RGE has enough unique content that this shouldn't be too difficult.

T-Man is a disgruntled former employee of ap.com and has been attacking it for years. He recently used a fake name (scarygary) on this site to claim he was a new user at ap.com and dissatisfied. Had anyone pulled a dishonest trick like that at ap.com, it would have been promptly and correctly deleted. T-Man has been sowing discord in the community for his own personal reasons to the detriment of Blackjack players. It is the bj21 policy of allowing such dishonest attacks that chased most of the authors off of bj21 in the first place.

I use both QFIT and Norm Wattenberger. These are both publically known real names. I try to use QFIT when responding to posts regarding QFIT software and my name when not. I do not intermix the names in the same types of discussions although you have hinted that I do. You have a habit of using phony names with made up persona to pretend that you are a different person. I have never done that.

And, even though I have never posted that you are the same person, you have sent me nasty emails saying that I am evil and accused me of being a casino spy because I mentioned that you attack me under multiple names.

People use "handles" to protect their identities from casinos. You have already outed yourself to the casinos by using your real name. You do it for business reasons, and I can accept that.

The problem is that you frequently attack me under your real name and under another handle you do not wish to be known as you. This practice is underhanded. It makes it look like multiple people are attacking me, when only one is doing so. It falsely builds credibility in your attacks against me.

You seem to feel that you can continue this practice because one of your identities is your real name. I will never expose your other identity, so don't start claiming that I'm threatening you. I'm clearly not.

I used other handles to regain access to trackjack and expose it to the community as the fraudulent product it is. Trackjack is frequently "updated" by hundreds of games. There is no way this can be done except to mass freshen the posting dates.

Nobody has ever explained this at RGE.

Imagine some hapless trackjack subscriber planning a trip because he found "fresh" reports of good single deck game in a certain area only to arrive and find that they went 6:5 payout six months ago.

Don Schlesinger once griped incessantly because I as editor didn't have the resources to separate the number of $5 - $10,000 tables from the $25 - $10,000 tables in a casino in which he was going to visit. Later,when I exposed trackjack's fraudulence, he wrote me and said he thought that only subscribers should comment.

As long as he maintains this attitude, my opinion is that he should never be allowed in the Blackjack Hall of Fame unless it is one that includes John Patrick and Jerry Patterson.

Parker supposedly has a book coming out soon. He frequently advises new people to avoid specific blackjack scams. I wonder if he will do the same in his book. How will he manage any credibility since he supports trackjack while knowing better.

You, Norm are safe. You do have a very good product, but you do the blackjack community a huge dis-service by fighting the exposure of a scam against the blackjack community.

I am an AP. I use different aliases in different situations. For example, I use a different alias at every online Poker room at which I play (and I play at many) for obvious reasons. I have told you the names I use when discussing Blackjack. These are the only two names and they are both legal names. QFIT is publically registered as a legal alias. Yes I am aware that you know an alias I use for a non-Blackjack purpose. I also know how you obtained that information. If you wish we could discuss that - but it would be highly damaging to BJ21's reputation and possibly very damaging to their business. I think it is already damaging to BJ21 that they even allow such threats on their forums.

Now this is the fifth time that you have hinted that you will out an alias. Who would do anything like that except a casino? It certainly has no other purpose here. Every time I respond to one of your attacks on Viktor or Don, you bring up the fact that you know of an alias of mine.

I have nothing to do with TrackJack. You are welcome to ask Viktor questions about Trackjack at advantageplayer.com or trackjack.com or just e-mail Host@Trackjack.com. I doubt Viktor reads T-Man's posts unless someone e-mails them to him. Just look down this page where T-Man posts as someone else claiming that he is a new TJ customer and you will see how silly it would be to dignify his posts with a response. The best way to deal with dirty tactics is to ignore them.

Alas we will see much of this to come. Notice the wild attack on Don Schlesinger from another alias posted down this page. We also know who made that post. She has used numerous aliases in the past to defame anyone that even dares post on ap.com. This very thread began with an innocent post from a zealous new person to the forums mentioning ap.com and turned into yet another attack. (And yes there are posts on ap.com suggesting that people look at bj21.com.)

This is nothing new. BJ21 was formed mainly to get away from one person who used dozens of aliases to attack Stanford, Arnold and many others. Unfortunately, this site has contained more than its fair share of attacks on BJ notables also. After nearly every author had been chased from these pages, AP.com was formed to get away from these attacks. AP.com, of course, is also imperfect.

Some people seem to lose sight of the fact that we are supposed to be fighting the casinos, not each other. In this battle we can use many sources. None are perfect but many contribute.

BTW for the record, I don't know either of the two combatants. My impressions are:

1. T-man seems to know his AP stuff. I am reasonably good at picking out BS'ers from BS'ers (Basic Strategy players as opposed to bullsh** players) :) T-man seems to know his stuff. I listen to what he has to say.

2. Norm fits in the same boat. I'm a pretty new user of his CV blackjack / cvcx software, and wish I had had it 4 years ago when I started my counting education. Certainly far better drills with CV than counting decks of cards by hand...
