I am Noir on MGM and I play exclusively blackjack. Mostly Vegas but sometimes Borgata or DC.

Do table game players earn any rewards now? Express Comps? Freeplay? Holiday Gift Shoppe?

Maybe it is the time of the year, maybe only certain properties earn? But I play extensively and high stakes and never earn a single dollar anymore under any of those things. (Don't get me wrong, I never pay for a meal, but it would be nice to get some shopping dollars or massages/retail comped).

I was noir last year. you get a free luxury cruise from them, it's pretty nice, can be worth up to $3000. you get free limo rides to and form the airport. those are the big ones

No, at MGM only slot play earns those things. I'm in the same boat.

@forever21, i never play slots, only table games. I know you get rated highest for slots, but there are some things they MUST give you, like the limo rides. The free cruise is conditional each year, so you always have to check the fine print. When they change the conditions mid year, you have to keep up on it and call in to get the old offers. They erase the old information without telling you and there's no way of getting back to it. Cheers!

The best comps for blackjack is caesars entertainment casinos. But the only games worth playing there are the HL room and black chip min.

They stopped giving express comps on table games a while ago for all levels. Caesars never gave much in points for table play anyway, it was functionally close to zero. Here is the problem from the casino's perspective. What ever percent you want to use for what they will give back call it 40% of theo or call it 20%, it does not matter. %X, generate so many dollars. $1 of slot revenie is worth much more than $1 in table game revenue, because slots have a departmental margin of 70% and tables 15 to 20%, because of higher labor costs. Now you can make the point, this analyses should be the same with express comps or primary comps, but primary are discretionary. So if you are a big loser and determine you are not a sharp player, they can still justify comps -rooms, meals etc - but they don't want to be obligated on them.

None of these programs are good as they used to be. Actually, Stations has gotten better on their point program versus a decade ago, but the video poker particularl at 100% games both in availability and points earned has gotten worse. And the mailed XPC offers (free play are worse). But if you play 9/6 jacks or NSU deuces you are getting more points than you did a decade ago.
