Penetration is going to be different between DD and 6D, and is more important than the other factors.
How deep are they dealing in these two games?
I've seen considerable variance on the placement of the notch on a six deck shoe.
I'm sure someone else here will run the numbers for you, but personally, I'd have a real hard time staying away from a double decker that is dealt down to only three fifths of the last deck.
According to CVCX online, here are the SCOREs for the games:
6 deck, S17, DS, LS, wong in/out +1, spread 1-4, pen 78: 54.20
2 deck, H17, DS, spread 1-8, pen 31: 62.10
Another factor is speed; the two games have the same win rate / hour if you can play the 6 deck 15% faster. There are several conditions which affect speed:
- number of players
- cards dealt face up are played faster than if they are dealt face down
- automatic shuffle machines
- wonging can increase your effective hands/hours because you can easily give up on shoes with negative counts.
if the dd is handheld u could be cheated very easily...
