LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The sound of gunshots sent gamblers diving for
the floor during a daring daylight casino robbery this afternoon at
a Las Vegas Strip resort.
Police now think the shots at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino
might've been blanks or a starter's pistol.
Initial reports are that no one's hurt.
The two robbers got away in a waiting car.
It all happened a few minutes before four P-M.
Detectives now are combing the casino for clues.
