this is a note of thanks to all of you.
i've lurked for 2 years, read antidotes, and followed the advice of those on this board. i read the books, saved my pennies, and just completed my first successful LV bj junket.
i stayed on the strip with a family member who was comped and used my sports book winnings (5 unit bets on BGSU, BGSU over, Wyoming, & Hawaii) to pay for food, drink, cabs, and tips.
i played single deck double deck whenever possible. i played a few 4 and 6 deck shoes. i used HiLo just as i had practiced with Mr. Pronovosts BJ Counter/Expert and Mr. Wattenbergers CVBJ, and spread as dictated by each game. i made no index plays.
to those of you doing the same, i can only echo what has been said before by those much smarter and therefore wealthier:
1. do not play the strip and avoid 6:5.
2. do your home work.
3. spend your time practicing not playing.
4. use that time to build your bankroll.
my results:
Summary Units
Imperial Palace -25.6
HorseShoe -4.8
Fremont 44.8
Gold Spike 7.8
California -4.6
4Queens 11.6
LV Club 73.2
TOTAL 102.4 units
again, thanks.
good luck to all in this new year.
