My minor quibble is that with so many losses the trials are not independent as a practical matter, particulary in pitch games. The results would be slightly better than your figures due to the negative correlation between hands. While it is often adviseable to ignore the minor effects of the negative correlation it is much more significant in this case, so its worth mentioning (if not calculating, which would require more infomration than was given).
One would be hard-pressed to find a pitch game where 16 consecutive losses out of the same pack could occur. It is possible in a heads-up two-deck game, but such a well-penetrated two-deck game is rare.
As noted above, minor differences are magnified when computing to the 16th power, so any minor change does make a difference. However, the primary point in my posts is that, while statistically rare, long losing streaks do occur and given the number of players at the tables at any particular point in time, they occur frequently on an overall basis.
