Do you know why you guys are all losers?

Because you don't understand the Patrick/Patterson (PP) data.
If you knew how to play with your PP I think you would make a lot more money. Like I always say its a lot like climbing a mountain you gotta get your Patterson wedge hammer and your Patrick peg and drive it into the BJ mountain so that when the negative shoes (storms) hit they don't blow your ass (your ass) off the mountain.

I haven't lost a single bet since my pregnant mother used to place them for me when I was a fetus. That was four score and seven years ago when our forefathers brought forth onto this continent a new nation dedicated to blackjack in the dessert and the concept that all players are created equal. We are now engaged in a great court battle to see if this or any nation so dedicated to counting or so consecrated to progressions can long endure.

I say this because I pledge allegence to the patrich methodoly and to the mathematics on which it stands one system under god indivisible with advantage and statistical proof for all.

Do you think it is a good idea to come to a serious blackjack forum with your "Patrick" crap? I hope I speak for everyone if I say, that nobody here is interested in Patrick's and Patterson's strategies. These guys' techniques and strategies are matemathically proved to be wrong. Patrick don't care about billions of hands run by computer simulations. Instead, he makes his "own" basic strategy, which he spreads to the world.

I once wrote a post on Patrick's message board, which by the way more look like Jerry Springer show, since there are no serious topic and everybody gets pissed with everyone. In my post, I tried to explain to the suckers, that one should keep on playing as long as the TC was, at least, stri�ngly positive and the player would have an edge. Patrick immediately replied and deemed it as

"The stupidest post ever made, since the board opened, two years ago. One shall always quit playing when one reaches the stop limit, no matter the circumstances".

That explains Patrick's level at blackjack. Since I haven't read any books on Patterson, I can't give my point of view on him.

Beside the John Patrick groupies (www.johnpatrick.com), try looking at www.dicesetter.com, and allcraps.com (most of the posts anyhow). All these sites truly amaze and re-inforce that no one ever went broke underestimating the public's stupidity.

When the subject of Blackjack comes up at these boards, it's Ploppyville USA.

Gamblers are a sorry lot because... they're gamblers. Folks like Pew-ey are a sorry lot as well because they don't use their minds to rationalize what it is they have been told, and that is a problem that they have that many of us have thankfully avoided. A sound card-counting system isn't something you just read about... it's something that one should rationalize and understand in order to gain confidence in it. In spite of my math background, it took almost 18 months for me to become fully confident in my initial system, and well it should when risking large sums of money.

So what's refreshing about Pew-ey? Simply that it's folks like him and the ploppies who make the games available and beatable by those who use systems that really work. If Pew-ey blows his dough on a good-quality Vegas double-deck game that I like, it keeps that game viable for the casino to offer and I benefit from that. I may abhor gambling, but I recognize how gamblers benefit me. It's posts like Pew-ey's that remind me of why I don't have to work TOO hard recommending my favorite tables to poor-playing high-rollers.... guys like Pew-ey support them without any help from me.
