I'm heading down to London in a couple of weeks was wondering where all the best games and rules are (Any double deck games?)

I went to the London area last year and I researched the Casinos near where I was staying and was able to successfully register from the US by fax or online.

...to let you in and there is no wait. More importantly, you don't need to show ID. One counter I know plays everywhere and regularly signs himself in as "Ed Thorp".
I haven't been to London in a decade, but I recall that the rules (not very advantageous) were the same in every casino, by law(!) For example, "inusrance" meant even money on a BJ, no other insurance was available. Rules may have since changed though.
I used to go to the Palm Beach Club in Berkeley Square. Nice atmosphere, good restaurant.

Hmmm yes, one of a few casinos I'd actually consider going to for pleasure rather than profit.

What are typical rules & pen in London?
ENHC, DAS, RSA, D9-11, pretty much what they were before without the insurance and splitting restrictions.
Mostly 6 decks, but some 4 deck games. Good pen (over 80%) depending on dealer and casino. Bad rules though, large spread required. Usually no heat!
Good casinos;
Palm Beach - classy & 4 deck
Park Towers - 4 deck and quiet, good for heads up.
Hard Rock - one 4 deck shoe, the rest are 4 deck CSM's, nice rock music atmosphere.
Cromwell Mint - 4 deck upstairs
Sportsman - 4 deck
Napoleons - 4 deck, but crowded.
Bad casinos
Any Gala casino - bad pen (60%)
Probably a good idea to fax ahead for membership, thus avoiding the 24 hours cooling off period.......
4 decks are thin on the ground but they were even thinner when I left England. Maybe things are improving.
Btw note that good pen is often caused by a recent change in the number of decks.
