In the KO book, the top row of the index charts says "hard 17" and an upward arrow. I take this, reasonably, to mean "17 and up." There are no indices on this row.
But the bottom row does have indices (double against 5 and 6 at +4 or above), and it says "8" and a downward arrow. Does this mean I'm also supposed to double everything LESS than eight under the same circumstances? If not, they should have printed an additional line, "7" and a downward arrow, with no indices, just like the top of the chart. I've been using KO for a while and I never noticed the arrow until now.
