Kelly Criterion question
So the Kelly Criterion is just a good strategy to go by, cause it isn't perfect right? At lesson 8 it says that following the Kelly Criterion you would bet 0% when the count is 0 or 1, then it slowly increments a higher percent as the true count gets higher, but wouldn't a more optimal system be to always bet 0% of your bankroll when the count is less than +4 then bet a very small percent when the count is 5 or more (I realize this isn't practical at all, but i've been under the impresion that the Kelly Criterion is perfect).
