From his own website, he gives the following anecdote:
"My next bet was again $15. (regress and up and pull), and this time I was dealt a pair of aces. Dealer had a 10 showing. I signalled for a hit and drew a 4, again a hit and drew a queen, giving me a hard 16. I signalled for a stay.
The dealer completed the hand, turned over a 6 to her 10 and drew a king, busting and making me a winner."
He then proceeds to defend his decision not to split aces to a ploppy berating him (hey, if *I* have to put up with it, so does John Patrick) - hmm, instead of splitting those aces and winning $30 (the dealer still would bust because the same # of cards came out), he showed how smart he was by only hitting and winning $15.
Too goddamn funny.
