One thing I can assure you, it takes a rare event to make me play something other than a traditional game of BJ. My line of work unfortunately gives me great cause to live in Sacramento, CA as opposed to here in Vegas for a period of about 3 months. I only know of one casino nearby (Jackson Rancheria) but the drive is too long for frequent visits, not to mention driving through a pissant town that has a sonovo***** cop harassing passers-through.
So for regular visits, it looks like some small parlor called Lucky Derby to play at a table. However, they only have carnival games such as No Bust. I am doubtful that I can turn an edge for this game if its similar to the other carnie games I've seen. At this point, I am favoring recreation over monetary gain.
If any of you are aware of the BS strategy for this game please link it or post in reply. Also, any advantage methods for this game would be exceptionally appreciated. In lieu of advantage play, effect of removal for the various ranking cards would be helpful. All insights and tips are welcomed. Also, should I use a traditional BJ count, or work out some other advantage play?
Another thing I've noticed is that they have a marker for a player/dealer which rotates around the table (so that you aren't playing against the same dealer repeatedly?). I wish I would have paid more attention when I first watched this game there. It would seem if there was a house edge, that the player/dealer would have an advantage play situation. I missed seeing whether the player/dealer was allowed to wager. If he were allowed to wager, can a betting strategy be developed whereas he could bet sufficiently enough as a p/d to overturn the negative expectation on the other rounds where he is a player?
Thank you in advance to any helpful contributions.
