Why Don't You Consider Switching to a More Powetful Counting System
Canfield system doesn't recognize the Ace, and the Ace is a valuable card for the player. You need a systen the has a high betting correlation especially if you are playing mostly shoe games. I believe the Canfield system was designed mostly for single deck games which are almost non-existent now.
Bob, I know you are very good at math and numbers and could easily handle something like "Wong Halves" with a little bit of practice. If you feel Halves is too hard why don't you just use "Hi-Lo".
As you can see from this chart the Canfield system has a very low betting correlation.

By the way, I never told you what counting system I use. I started out with Hi Low many years ago and then switched to Halves which I use today.
