Hello Friends,
I generated indexes using the playing effects of removal as the point totals for the counting system. Don't ask why I'm doing this. LOL. I have double checked the indexes generated and they all look okay, there are a few wierd ones, but I think I know why they are wierd.
For example, on the pair splitting chart it says to split 3's against a dealer 8 if the TC is -10. At first I thought, "no way", but then I remembered that some of the splitting chart indexes work opposite, that is you split if the TC is BELOW the index, not above it. Which makes sense, I guess, for splitting 3s vs dealer 8.
So, here is my question, if some of the indexes work opposite, that is you do what is suggested when the TC is below the index instead of above it, how do you know the index is meant to be used this way?
Thanks,
Steve
