Another great weekend at the tables. I play and win in real life, and I don't put a lot of faith in all these computer sims. I have been playing this game for a very long time, long enough to know and understand how the game works.
The bottom line is that it takes many different qualities to make up a winning blackjack player. Some are personal, some are mathematical, and some are technical. Obviously a knowledge of how to correctly play each hand in every circumstance is pretty important, in fact it is the first starting point. But it is not enough, and the fine points of surviving to play the game in real life are a whole lot more complicated and interrelated than simply memorizing a table in a book. It takes creativity and determination first and foremost.
I can say with all honesty after so many years that I have the blackjack embedded in my DNA.
