how to side count aces without Mess?

I can count Hi-Lo pretty good but i cannot do it with Side Count Ace. some ppl suggest use A,B,C instead bUt i rather use Number. so anybody has some easy way to side Count Ace?

Is there a Chart for Ace Double? Like today, i Had +5 count. 10 Agaisnt 10, Book said Double on True Count 4 or more. i might not do it if there is not much Ace leave. I lost that hand but i will win if i just hit.

some Double We hope to get an ace to beat the dealer.

As Hilo does already take aces into account, there is no need for a side count of aces.Gains by possible strategy adjustments would be far offset by the higher error rate and anyway you would have to know exactly how to adjust indices which is obviously not the case.

HiLo counts aces and tens. A + count means more of those than the smaller coards.

A side-count might be useful in SD/DD with Hi-Lo, if you have a 11 vs a dealer 10 for example. If you know the excess high cards are really mostly aces, you might back down off the double play and hit. If you have a 10 vs dealer 10, yes you would double on that big + count no matter what, and if you get a 10, that is a strong hand, if you get one of the A's you can only push at worst.

I've done some of this for SD/DD, I have never done it for shoes because the side count can get very big. 6 decks could produce 24 aces, and those kinds of numbers can lead to errors. In SD, an ace side-count can be somewhat useful, particulary for insurance, but even there I no longer do it at all, because HiLo is easy to use by itself and easy means very few errors. You start counting two things, and errors are going to erase any advantage until you get very good at it.

My (non-professional) advice is to play hi-lo and do the best you can do, without worrying about the ratio of aces to 10's on + counts...

If you really want to do it, I have seen posts on the subject here and at AP.com, but for shoes I believe it is worthless...
