RC around 22+, I had two max bet and then a 2,2 and a 6,8 against a dealer 4. Out comes another 2, then another. Next four cards were tens for four twelves and a 14. Of course, dealer rolls the 7 and then the ten. Bye, bye units!
One hand I remember well, I was going to 2 x 300 and I mistakenly bet 600 on the second hand. I got 77 v 8 on the overbet hand , about the scariest split I know. Of course, I got a 3rd 7 then wound up with 2 double downs. I split the doubles and won the single bet. It wasn't one of my more confident moments even though I came out a bet ahead on the hand.
A skillful Card Counting with precise play can expect to win 2/3's of his sessions and will be counting himself as being quite lucky if he can get over 70% - over the long haul.
Ergo, there is nothing at all unusual about losing. Nothing at all.
