help

I know basic stradegy of blackjack Ive been playing for years. I recently bought You've got heat by Barfarkel. I really want to be an advantage player. In the book he says he uses the silver fox count. What count is the best and what books should I buy first.
I would appreciate any information.

The standard reference for years has been Wong's "Professional Blackjack." No one can tell you what the "best" count is, but Hi-Lo is an excellent count and is covered in great detail in Wong's book. He also covers his Halves count with a whooping 99% betting efficiency.

Best book

Card Counting for the Casino Executive by Bill Zender. Written for the other side, it's so good, it scares me.

Advantage player

Take free BJ school on home page of BJ21. There is no short cut, you can not expect to make lots of money without practice,practice and a large bankroll. Even then some will not be much past break even

Good 1st time counter's book

Blackjack Bluebook II by Fred Renzey has become my standard recommendation for aspiring counters. It's a recent, up to date book and contains a couple of very thoroughly laid out counting systems, including the KISS Count which I use and like.
