Sorry to be the "bearer" of bad news, but some pro players don't even
go to Shreveport anymore because of hostility, violent security guards, and corrupt local police who work closely with the casinos. There have been several incidents over the years of serous violence against disliked but law-abiding, winning patrons with nothing done about it by the police, and harassment/false arrests of law-abiding patrons by crooked police officers, many of whom who have part-time jobs as casino guards. My advice is to find a different venue entirely.

In a separate post, I asked about conditions in Shreveport. Your advise about the heat condition is good to know. At the level I'll be playing it should not be an issue. My max bet will be $100. So, unless there are $10 DD, $25 SD, or very deep $5 6D I think I would be good. If they are sweating that, it is a sauna.
