Heartland 21

Just in case anyone didn't know, I thought I would mention that there is a new free blackjack forum over at www.advantageplayer.com called "Heartland 21". This is a free forum for discussing blackjack conditions in the Midwest and East. Stop by and check it out.

As many of you know, BJ21 use to have a great Midwest free page. I for one was very upset at the loss of the free Midwest page here. I know that BJ21 still has a Green Chip Midwest page, but I find that alot of the information provided by an occasional casino visitor, pit boss, or dealer is missing from Green Chip. The special flavor that is only provided by a free forum was lost.

The problem with the existing free forum here is that everything just gets buried among everything else. If a good thread on Midwest conditions gets started here, two days later it is too far down the page for anyone to notice it and it dies.

Some of you may know, that I have been a pest over at advantage player.com trying to get them to start a Midwest page. In fact I pestered them so much that they decided the only way to shut me up was to make me a co-host of their new page. :-)

Please don't think I'm trying to take anything away from this site. BJ21 is a great site and I'm going to continue to post here. I will continue to post on Midwest Green anything I feel is too sensitive for a free open midwest page.

It is interesting that they allowed you to post at all here after you agreed to co-host. They consider it a conflict of interests for those who co-host to cross-post.

Unfortunately, that lost "special flavor" of a free forum to which you refer does not occur at advantageplayer.com because that site is monitored by people who think they know it all and post only opinions that agree with their own. Anyone with a fresh idea isn't allowed in the door. So much for free speech.

And everytime the dealer gets a Blackjack after you raise your bet, it's because advantageplayer.com beams magical rays into the casinos to make you lose.

Are those the same magical rays that give the ploppy next to me the $5 blackjack, when I bet $250 in the high + count, and get the 16?

He's in charge of advantage.com conspiracy theories.

He splits 10s, He doubles down on hard 14 vs T, he stands on a hard 7.

AND WINS! AND WINS! AND WINS!

Happens every time. In the meantime, using an advanced multi-level count with 2 side counts, optimal betting ramps, wonging with optimal departure point, and using match play coupons -- I get my ass kicked!

Is this also part of the conspiracy?

The two exceptions to the no-posting on bj21 rule appear to be:

1) It is ok to post advertisements for ap.com
2) It is ok to flame a poster on bj21.com

I find it quite funny that you say that we are flaming someone since I was obviously responding to a flame. In fact a lie. And you are now flaming EK for no acceptable reason that I can imagine. It appears the exception to the no flames rule on bj21 is when a flame is against a competitor to bj21. No matter how incredible and slanderous a lie (e.g. advantageplayer.com is owned by a Griffin agent) it isn't busted.

You've been trying to get a decent shoe all night and you are down quite a bit, finally you get a decent shoe, you are playing heads up against the dealer and the TC is finally in good territory. A ploppy walks up to the table and lays five crumpled up one dollar bills on the table pulled from five different pockets. You say, "I'll GIVE you a red chip if you wait till the shuffle". The ploppy mumbles something about "wanting some action" and says no. Then you say, "I'll give you a GREEN chip if you wait for the shuffle", the ploppy mumbles the same response. Then you say, "I'll give you a BLACK chip if you'll wait till the shuffle". Same response. And, of course the ploppy wins every hand he plays, all at $5 a hand and takes away half of your hands during this high TC.

This actually happened to me. Actually, I think this person was a shill. Who would turn down a black chip just to wait for the shuffle?

It is not a lie. Parker's own posting guidelines state clearly that free speech is not allowed on his forums. We can argue whether that is judicious and intelligent use of moderation to keep the site functioning or a nasty piece of Stalinist thought-control, but AD's point was literally correct.

I didn't say Nacht was an agent. I asked someone to vouch for him. Someone did. It was a reasonable question, particulary as there was clearly an attempt to cover up Karel Janeck's casino consulting work before it was uncovered by an independent source. The matter has been settled, so I don't know why you are trying to bring it up again.

By the way nothing I said remotely qualifies as slander. On the other hand I've put up with various RGE experts calling me at one time or another "a charlatan", "a fraud" and threatening to "rip out my f***** heart". But then I'm not helping you promote my software (oh wait, yes actually I do, I just don't expect anything in return).

...But RGE "experts" have a ghastly record in opposing innovation. The "fresh ideas" comment is accurate.
Do you want me to quote from all those times Schlesinger et al have criticized new advantage play methods or theories, before ultimately doing backflips on the matter, even selling manuals on the same techniques?
