had a great game last night

played for 5.5 hours, down the whole time, got back to even and i was out...

got 7 BJs in total....3 became pushes, only made 2 DD's, lost about 15 (hardly any 10s & 11s), only ONE of my DDs got a 10 to get a 21...all the other became stiffs....

normally ploppy mistakes will help you as much as hurt you....NOT LAST NIGHT, every time someone did something stupid i lost (EVERY time)....lost about 3/4s of my hands, only came out even because i flat betted at a $25 tables and won 11 times in a row...(well it cushioned the blow)....anyway the point is, i came in with 1k, most of the time was down to 200-500, finally got back even...

5.5 hours of nothing...

nearly all of my sessions the last month have been like this...

somebody tell me it will eventually get better...(btw, besides that 10 streak, and 2 5 streaks, i never got more than 2 wins in a row...felt like sh!t afterwards)

I not going to tell you it will I'd be lying. If you keep gambling you will lose it all, probably sooner than later, Face the truth.

please site some proof that Mr J is playing a negative EV game. Because in reality that is the only way he is going to lose.

I am not saying it will get better right away. However if you keep grinding those losses will soon see like a distant memory.

The only thing worse than losing I guess is blantantly obsurd criticism with no proof that you are a loser other than a couple of bad sessions.

If you don't know how to count effectively or are not playing properly then he is correct. If you are playing a winning game then he (tippy tom) should be tossed out of BJ21 on his arse.

Mr J has posted in the past that he is a progression player. If he is still laboring under the illusion that progressions will produce long-term winning play, then tippy tom is exactly right.

and did you catch how he got even? Flat bet $25. Just trying to help him avoid bankruptcy.

Who else would be keeping track of "one 10 win streak and two 5 win streaks" and other such negative EV stats?

When a counter posts a description of a session, it talks about getting into high counts, or long negative counts, or the count not moving at all -- not upset because they flat bet into a long win streak.

From his posts recently I got no indication that he was anything BUT a counter. Remember cut me some slack, I been out of the loop for awhile. There was a post under the "whining and complaining" thread section area about the state of the game below and it appeared to me that he was a counter.

You guys got me, that is friendly advise if playing a negative EV game. Shows how long I been away from this board.

i have posted that i use progressions, BUT i have ALSO posted i count and have for a long time....

my use of progressions was just to get me a head start...build up a BR...

ive done that, and focus more on counting...

i am not under the illusions that progressions produce a edge, i learnt this long ago when it was mathematically proven to me....

i am playing with a positive expectation...

just because my sessions are bad, doesnt mean im not winning...

ive actually only lost 2 of my last 20 visits...

BUT, the cards have been coming out unfavorably lately...

bootlegger, ive posted quite a few times here, but you still dont seem to remember me mentioning counting every post when progressions are mentioned...

one of my posts was advising someone against using them...

do not insult my intelligence...

tippy top or whatever it is, get the full story before you start passing judgement...

i know over the long run my 'luck' will even out, i just felt like posting what i experienced in that session (which would not be my worst....not even close ;)

obviously it wouldnt matter what the count is if you cant win on the night...

you win, you lose...

i just posted again, you'll notice i said ive been winning despite bad 'luck'...

this would be due to have the money out when it counts...

ie when the count is high....
