GREAT question and request for STANFORD WONG

stanford,could you put a new thread on the left for selling,buying and trading comps.there are many different levels of players on here from bs to yellow chippers.i think it would be great for a red chipper to announce his trip and want to buy a few nights from a green or black chipper.maybe a black chipper would like to trade danny gans tickets with abother black chipper for tickets somewhere else.the possibilities are endless.i think it would be a great asset to this site.

use them. All my Vegas comps and Shreeveport too, say photo ID required.

when comps come my way, I take them or leave them.. always knowing there'll be more. The time/effort involved in hassling with comps other than just taking them when they fit in with one's agenda is pretty much without ROI but that's just my HO, others may assign more value to second-hand comps.

Also, I rarely find where any significant overt effort to secure comps exceeds the value of focusing that effort on BJ EV instead. My last Vegas trip was a case in point... I took a 4 nite room comp in downtown Vegas and ended up spending a lot of time getting to and into the target venues up on the strip that had bubbled to the top of my DB. After estimating the overhead associated with the extra time involved, I clearly would have been better off doing a discounted room closer to the primary playing geography.

play downtown?

I played downtown one day.. the last day so I could go straight to the airport and avoid a strip round trip.

The reason I play sparingly downtown is because I primarily play DD and only one downtown venue offers a DD game better than .53. Some of the .53 games are well penetrated but I draw a lot of attention on them with green+ action so I limit exposure on them relative to perceived tolerance.

I wouldn't want to expose any info about myself to a stranger, which would be necessary to make an exchange. And I don't need to advertise on this site to trade with people I know.

for DD relative to SD is because there are many more rounds available to diffuse betting strategy and when this is done well, and with patience, higher spreads and session longevity are more achievable. I played more SD earlier in my playing days when I was more of a cowboy. My highest, present-day SD play is in the outskirts of Reno where there is the greatest disparity of quality between SD and DD.
