Great penetration, but crowded table. So what would you do?

Let's say you're playing at a six deck, DAS, DOA, no surrender table. The penetration is 85%. That's less than a deck from the back. but the table is getting crowded. There are now five people at the table, including yourself. None of the others are counters. The next table over has only two players. The table after that has only one player. On the other side of the room is an empty table. But on all of those tables, the penetration is 75%. Would you stay at the 85% pen crowded table? Or would you move to an emptier 75% pen table?

Be friendly with players by brown-nosing them at the table, then make your money by backlining & hit'em hit!

When the count tanks, it is better to play anywhere else. I suggest you table hop, wong & backcount as much as your act will allow you to get away with. If it is so busy that you are struggling to work your play in this manner, you need to pack it in and wait for better conditions before you play again.

Move to play the 75% game heads up. Why? Spreading 1-8 in $50 units play all using A02 all indexes and Ace Side Count. (for purely comparative purposes, not the spread or count I'd use)

Win Rate 85%: $205/100 SCORE $49.54 N0: 20,187
Win Rate 75%: $150/100 SCORE $23.88 N0: 41,864

You probably get 60 rounds per hour on the 85% game and 180 rounds per hour on the 75% game...so expect $270 per hour on the 75% game and $123 per hour on the 85% game. You'd also cover N0 faster since you'd be playing 3x the rounds but N0 is *only* 2x bigger.

Brownosing a player on the table means kissing his ess. Making him happy so that he will let you place bets on his spot.

Backlining a bet means asking the brownosed player's permission to have your bet placed on by his betting circle/square. For example, when tc>=+1, if he bets 4 greens, you may say: "Hey you get a lucky run, please bet 2 blackchips for me, OK?" If the guy is happy with your ess-kissing, the chance is good that he will accommodate your request, get it?

When the dealer two tables down the line is complaining about it.
