I was wondering if anyone knew what type of games were to be found at the Borgata in Atlantic City. I heard that they had 6-deck games (as opposed to the 8-decks everywhere else in AC) but I also heard they had centralized shuffling. Does anyone know what types of games are offered there and how beatable they are? Also, does anyone know of any other places in AC that offer 6-deck games and/or better games other than the Borgata?
for a while the borgata had 8 deck shoes in the front and 6 deck shoes in the back, but lately I heard they switched back to all 6D. generally they have at least 1-2 tables in the back with $5 minimums at all times (packed 3 deep), otherwise it's the usual $15/$25 action during peak hours.
all 12 casinos in AC have 6 deck games but most of them are $25/$50/$100 minimum in the VIP pits with NMSE. There are a few tables at resorts and hilton with 6D MSE, and sometimes showboat will open some when it's not too busy. but with no late surrender option and mediocre penetration citywide, you're not going to get a particularly "beatable" SCORE compared to anything in NV or MS...expect no better than minimum wage earnings even at green chip level.
The Borgata was 6 deck from when it opened until atleast JULY
I didn't go back from July until about a month ago when I found that the back was all 8 deck and the front was still 6 decks (but no 5 dollar min)
I am going to AC again this week- can anybody confirm that they have gone back to 6 decks throughout the casino?
